It’s starting to look like winter in the West Country. We went out earlier this week to check the conditions, get a few pictures and enjoy a day out of the office… We need things to get a little more wintry before we can run all of our tours but in the meantime there’s still lots of great scenery and options for adventures throughout the Christmas break.
Winter is a unique season to play outside, not only are temperatures low, but the mountains can have some of the quickest weather changes you’ll ever experience. Packing for the day can be a daunting task so we thought we would share a few of our favorite tips.
Sometimes the difference between a great day and a good day is all in the clothes! Layering is the name of game for a day outside in the snow. Starting at the base layer and moving outwards, layers can be easily added and removed for comfort in any weather. With so many different brands, styles and materials available the best advice is to find what fits you best.
