Thanks for your help in raising over $2k for two local charities!
It started as an idea to bring something different to the Canteen menu by letting local chefs take over the truck. Chef Nick at the Frontier Lodge jumped on the idea to do a taco day while Chef Clay at the Goldeye Centre brought his gourmet grilled cheese to the truck. The idea proved popular, and the food delicious. All the proceeds from the events went to Frontier Lodge and the Goldeye Centre, two local nonprofits.
We’re already working on some ideas for next summer to bring in a few more guest chefs to raise funds for local causes.
