The Explorer Series

Join an upcoming adventure

The Explorer Series tours are an easy way to head out on an adventure, whether you’re joining us on your own or bringing a few friends along.

Offered on select days throughout the year, these tours feature our favourite itineraries, from ice bubbles to photo tours and guided hikes, along with unique experiences offered only a handful of times each season. The adventures are all about getting outside to play and discover the region.

Our small groups allow us to be flexible while on tour and to slow down to enjoy the journey. We take care of all the logistics, equipment and snacks so that all you have to do is enjoy the breathtaking destinations Nordegg and Abraham Lake have to offer.

Looking for a tour on a different date? All our tours are available as private tours on your schedule.

A Few More Things To Know

Each tour has a minimum number of participants required for the tour to be offered, typically between 2 and 6 guests. If the tour you chose doesn’t have enough interest we’ll let you know the day before the tour and issue you a full refund or a credit for a future tour, your choice.

We get to play outside on our tours and that means you’ll want to come prepared for the weather. Make sure to dress in layers and come prepared for the unpredictable weather we often get in Alberta. We rarely cancel tours due to weather, as long as we can have a safe adventure. You’ll be amazed at how warm we get snowshoeing at -20C or how much fun hiking in the rain can be!
