The adventure starts with some of our favourite sights in the area and a short walk to the frozen Crescent Falls. You'll then get to spend the afternoon on an Abraham Lake ice walk taking in the sights of the ice bubbles, quirky ice features and surrounding peaks.

The Adventure
Crescent Falls
The double waterfalls on the Bighorn River are impressive all year but there's something special about seeing them covered in ice.
During the winter months, the road down to the campground is closed. We'll be walking approximately 500 metres each way to the falls. Please note that Alberta Parks has closed access to the area between the falls.

A Few More Things To Know
We get to play outside on our tours and that means you’ll want to come prepared for the weather. Make sure to dress in layers and come prepared for the unpredictable weather we often get in Alberta. We rarely cancel tours due to weather, as long as we can have a safe adventure. You’ll be amazed at how warm we get snowshoeing at -20C or how much fun hiking in the rain can be!
